Helping High Conflict Co-Parents in Play Therapy
Description: This training is focused on supporting parents (divorced, married, or any other relationship) in cooperative parenting strategies that allow the parents to have their individual personalities and values respected and supported by one another. This approach focuses on cooperation and child-focused communication. Participants will learn language and boundaries to support parents in conflict as well as values affirming parenting strategies to teach.
Objectives:

Participants will be able to verbalize co-parenting myths and facts and ways these can support parents in conflict.

Participants will identify 3-5 concrete boundaries that can support parents in conflict.

Participants will describe 3 techniques for decreasing parent conflict.
