Affirming Play Therapy: Ethical Approaches to Diversity
Description: Participants will learn about affirming approaches to therapy including both culturally affirming and neuro-affirming approaches. Participants will gain access to both language and techniques to support minority groups in expressing and valuing their diversity.
Objectives:

Participants will learn and verbalize the ethical issues of diversity affirmation.

Participants will identify at least one way which they can increase affirming strategies within their practice.

Participants will be able to describe the benefits of affirming therapy and the risks of neutral therapy.
